About Hawaii Hispanic Heritage Festival and Events
Our Mission is to promote and perpetuate the Hispanic culture in Hawaii through annual festivals and special events. We do this by organizing The Hispanic Heritage Festival annually during National Hispanic Heritage month. Special events include: Cinco de Mayo block party in downtown Chinatown, Miss Latina Hawaii and Latin New Year's Eve celebrations.

This year’s theme is “Shaping the Bright Future of America”.
In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, this free community-wide event features Latin food booths, crafts, cultural exhibits, a keiki section, community/ health agencies and lots of live entertainment including Latin music and dancers. It regularly attracts over 10,000+ people according to event officials.
New to this year’s festival is a beer tent featuring an assortment of brews and tequilas to enjoy with live music.
