Sponsor the 32nd Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival and Health Fair

Dear Prospective Sponsor,

As you may know, Hispanics comprised of the descendants from 22 different countries are now the nation’s largest minority. We comprise 16.7% of the U.S. population. In Hawaii, Hispanics are the fastest-growing segment of our population. According to the latest Census figures, there are over 142,000 Hispanics in Hawaii. That makes us 10% of the population and still growing!

Hispanic Heritage month, September 15th through October 15th, was enacted in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan. This one-month observance recognizes the contributions Hispanic Americans have made to the United States. September 15th was chosen as the starting point because many Latin American countries celebrate their Independence Day on or near that day.

This year’s theme is: “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together”.

During the upcoming national celebration, our Hawaii Hispanic communities statewide will celebrate through a variety of events. The largest is our Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival and Health Fair held this year at AMVETS West Oahu/ American Veterans Center on October 12, 2024 from 10am to 10pm. Past attendance has averaged about 3,000 + attendees.

Portions of proceeds will benefit Scholarships for our youth, American Veterans Center, West Oahu & our brothers & sisters on the Island of Maui affected by the wildfires.

This Festival is a wonderful place for our community to showcase its services and products. This is also a great way for mainstream businesses and corporations, interested in promoting their products or services within Hawaii’s Hispanic community, to access a wide spectrum of that community.

We would like to invite you to become a corporate sponsor of our Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival & Health Fair. Also, as a sponsor you will be donating to Hispanic scholarships in Hawaii and American Vets as net proceeds will benefit these organizations. Please see below regarding the numerous benefits of serving as a corporate sponsor.
